On 3 – 4  December 2018, The Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission in cooperation with Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) of Japan hosted the Future of ICT Application for 5G and Beyond Workshop at The St. Regis Hotel Bangkok. On behalf of the NBTC, Assoc. Prof, Prasert Silphiphat, NBTC Commissioner opened the workshop and welcomed all participants. Mr. Takorn Tantasith, NBTC Secretary General, also gave the keynote remarks. Moreover, this workshop was attended by Mr. Korkij Danchaivichit, NBTC Deputy Secretary-General and AM. Thanapant Raicharoen, Ph.D., NBTC Deputy Secretary-General. The purposes of arranging this workshop are to emphasize the importance of technological development and present the innovation of 5G technology. There were showcases of 5G application with the Japanese main industrial sectors through the innovation exhibition.
